Overview
We prepare the Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, with an analysis covering the composition, exposure and toxicological profile of the ingredients.
The assessment is based on the relationship between the formulation, ingredient concentrations and the actual conditions of use – including method of application, frequency and area of exposure. Both systemic and local exposure are considered, using available toxicological data and established risk assessment approaches.
The analysis includes the evaluation of each ingredient in the context of the specific formulation, as well as the finished product as a whole system, with the aim of producing a substantiated and defensible safety assessment under regulatory review.
